Format:Book
CSE’s Jackie Miller and Ruth Krumhansl have contributed a chapter to this newly released publication. Most science educators believe that innovative instructional materials can transform the way science is taught. However, change is dependent on how the materials are designed and how teachers use them. This chapter explores the interplay between the intended implementation of designed, innovative curriculum and the curriculum enacted by teachers who are used to customizing their own instructional materials.
